While he was only on the pitch for the final 20 minutes of his firstnorth London derby, Guendouzi seems to already understand the importance of Arsenal’s rivalry with Spurs.As the 19-year-old left the ground, he was spotted by Gunners supporters in the back of his cab and wound down his window to toast the delighted fans with fist bumps and hugs, even allowing them to ruffle his hair.Even after the car pulled away,Guendouzi leaned further out and gestured for fans to continue celebrating.Gunners legend Ian Wright has made no secret of his admiration for the Frenchman in the past and sent out a tweet saying: “Protect Matto Guendouzi at all costs!!!!!”Guendouzi signed from Lorient in July 2018 and has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal, scoring once in the Europa League.
